15/07/2010On the 12th-13th of July 2010 in IAFE-NRI took place a study visit for representatives of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock in Turkey involved with implementing the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) in Turkey. The visit was organized within action AGR IND/STUD 41912 in co-operation with IAFE-NRI and DG Agri by the Technical Assistance Information Exchange Instrument of the European Commission (TAIEX).
Employees of Agricultural Accountancy Department of IAFE-NRI prepared and presented numerous presentations on Polish FADN – agenda of the meetings included community typology for agricultural holdings, farm selection plan, farm selection, data quality control on Liaison Agency level (log books, inspections ëon the fieldí, software tests), data processing, farm return, data quality check on DG Agri level (RICA testing), co-operation between Liaison Agency and DG Agri as well as Polish FADN data use. Guests from Turkey were also acquainted with practical issues connected with the software used for data collection and processing as well as RICA testing process.
