26/09/2022On September 21-23, 2022, the 20th workshop of the Polish FADN took place in Jesionka (Lubuskie Voivodeship). The workshops were held in a hybrid form and the participants represented several institutions such as: 16 Agricultural Advisory Centers, staff of the Department of Agricultural Holdings Accountancy of IAFE-NRI as well as the director of the Institute and the Deputy Director of the Budget Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The participants of the workshop discussed ongoing issues related to the substance and implementation for the Farm Accountancy Data Network in Poland and ways to improve it. The lively discussions touched upon several topics mainly related to farms’ incomes in Poland, financing of agricultural sector in 2023, food losses in agricultural production or possible ways of accessing the Polish FADN data as well as new features of RDR System for data collection. Part of discussions concerned future challenges related to running the network faced by regional coordinators of FADN.
