07/10/2013Annual workshops organised by the Polish FADN took place at “Pegaz” hotel in Krynica-Zdrój (Małopolskie voivodship) between 30 September and 4 October this year.
The participants of the workshops were all the FADN coordinators from 16 accounting offices in Poland and their deputies, advisory officers dealing with data collection from agricultural holdings as well as IAFE-NRI staff from Agricultural Accountancy Department. Moreover, Director Deputy from Małopolskie Advisory Center, IAFE-NRI Director’s delegate, representatives from Market Research Department of IAFE-NRI, representatives of Polish Academy of Science, Wroclaw University and University of Agriculture in Krakow took part in the workshops.
The main objective of the workshops was to work out the optimal way of completing tasks by the Polish FADN so that it serves for the national and European agricultural policy as well as strategic objectives of the development of Polish agriculture.
During the workshops the team building activities for the participants were also provided. The main objective of the exercise was to develop the skills to distinguish and analyse business activities of agricultural holdings for the purpose of their registration in FADN accounts.
