Training for Polish FSDN advisors in Gdańsk

On 7–8.05.2026, the fourth and last training for agricultural advisors carrying out tasks for the Polish FSDN took place in Gdańsk. The event was attended by representatives of three Agricultural Advisory Centres: Łódzkie, Mazowieckie and Pomorskie. The training was organised by the Agricultural Holdings Accountancy Department (ZRGR) of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute (IAFE-NRI).

During the training, ZRGR staff discussed key issues related to the transformation of the FADN system into the FSDN. Zbigniew Floriańczyk, Head of ZRGR, presented issues related to the transformation of the FADN into the FSDN, with particular emphasis on the new data collection system and ongoing work.

Paweł Kaźmierczak and Wanda Nowak presented a summary of the first year of data collection under the Polish FSDN from the perspective of the FSDN Auditor. Justyna Żurakowska discussed the information- and promotion-related activities of the Polish FSDN carried out in connection with the system transformation process. Monika Juchniewicz presented potential areas for the further development of the Polish FSDN, with particular emphasis on directions for expanding and improving the system, including through the possible integration of the database with external sources.

The second day of the training was devoted to methodological consultations regarding new variables gathered in the FSDN system since 2025.

The event provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss current issues and debate the further development of the Polish FSDN system.
