On 8th-19th of March 2010 took place a training programme in Poland for representatives of Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of Republic of Macedonia responsible for development of Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN). The training programme was financed by the project MK-ASAP-C1-QCBS-CS7.
Employees of Agricultural Accountancy Department of IAFE-NRI prepared and presented number of presentations on scope and methodology used in Polish FADN and Agrokoszty system (unit costs of selected agricultural products). Guests from Macedonia were also acquainted with practical issues connected with daily work on FADN, the software used for data collection and processing and ways of cooperation with European Commission.
During the training programme guests from Macedonia visited one of Accountancy Offices working for FADN in Poland (located in Końskowola, lubelskie voivodship). The main topics of the visit were the specific issues related to work of Accountancy Office, organization of data collection, rules of cooperation between advisor and farmer.
At the time of stay in Konskowola guests from Macedonia had a chance to meet and exchange ideas with farmers participating in FADN – the most important members of the whole system.
