On 14 April 2026, a seminar entitled “Polish FSDN – Farm Sustainability Data Network in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship” was held in Olsztyn, organized by the Warmia-Mazuria Agricultural Advisory Centre based in Olsztyn (W-MODR). The event was attended by representatives of the management of W-MODR, advisors for the Polish FSDN from the region and delegates of the Polish FSDN from the Agricultural Holdings Accountancy Department (ZRGR) of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute (IAFE-NRI).
The aim of the seminar was to discuss the practical aspects of the functioning of the Polish FSDN system, in particular in the context of the use of the collected data for the purposes of economic analyses and the use of the FSDN system for the needs of the beneficiaries of the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy 2023–2027.
Małgorzata Gąska, Head of the FSDN W-MODR Section, introduced the participants to the issues related to the implementation of the task of the Polish FSDN in the voivodeship. Monika Juchniewicz, Deputy Head of the ZRGR IAFE-NRI, presented the possibility of using result tables to assess the correctness of data and the use of the FSDN system for the needs of beneficiaries of the CAP Strategic Plan. Adam Smolik, Head of the Methodology and Training Section of the ZRGR IAFE-NRI, discussed the use of FSDN reports in the production and economic analysis of agricultural holdings and potential areas of further development of the system in the context of the transformation of FADN into FSDN.
The seminar served as an important platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and helped to enhance the advisors’ practical expertise in the use of FSDN.
