16/06/2026On 13–14 June 2026, the Wielkopolska Agricultural Fair, combined with the Regional Livestock Exhibition, the National Beef Cattle Exhibition and the Field Days, took place in Sielinko near Opalenica. The event was organised by the Wielkopolskie Agricultural Advisory Centre in Poznań.
As every year, the fair attracted many farmers, breeders and representatives of institutions and companies related to agriculture. The programme included, among other things, field demonstrations, presentations of plant varieties on experimental fields, animal exhibitions and shows. This year’s edition was also of a special nature – it was accompanied by celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the State Agricultural Advisory Service in Wielkopolska.
The event was attended by Monika Sapota from the Agricultural Holdings Accountancy Department at IAFE–NRI, an auditor for the FSDN. At a joint stand with the Wielkopolskie Agricultural Advisory Centre, she conducted information and promotional activities regarding the Polish FSDN system.
Visitors to the stand were able to find out how the farm accounting system works, what data it collects, and what benefits participation in the Polish FSDN offers. There was also plenty of information and promotional material available, and a themed crossword puzzle was prepared for those interested, providing an accessible way to test their knowledge of the system.
Participation in the fair was an excellent opportunity to talk to farmers and exchange experiences between academia, advisory services and agricultural practice.
