29/06/2026On 28 June 2026, the Lublin Agricultural Advisory Centre in Końskowola hosted its Open Day – an event dedicated to farmers, advisers and representatives of institutions involved in agriculture.
The event was attended by representatives of IAFE–NRI: Jarosław Sidor from the Agricultural Holdings Accountancy Department, an auditor for the Polish FSDN, and Magdalena Czułowska from the Department of Economics of Agricultural and Horticultural Holdings, representing the AGROKOSZTY Agricultural Product Data Collection System.
The stand hosted information and promotional activities concerning the Polish FSDN and AGROKOSZTY systems. Event participants were able to access information materials, obtain detailed information on how the systems work, and discuss the importance of farm accounting and the role of economic, environmental and social data collected on farms.
During discussions with farmers, the importance of cooperation with agricultural advisory services was emphasised, and attention was drawn to the significance of FSDN data, which supports decision-making regarding the development of farms and is also used in economic analyses of the agricultural sector.
The event programme included, amongst other things, a formal opening ceremony, the presentation of “Meritorious for Agriculture” badges and awards in industry competitions. The programme also featured panel discussions on the future of organic farming, as well as accompanying events, including an open-air mass and artistic performances.
An integral part of the Open Days were the presentations at the experimental plots in Pożóg II, where numerous plant varieties and modern agricultural technologies were showcased.
The event provided an opportunity for the farming community to gather, exchange knowledge and experiences, and promote modern solutions in agriculture.
