29/06/2026On 28 June 2026, the Open Day took place at the Świętokrzyskie Agricultural Advisory Centre (ŚODR) in Modliszewice. The event is one of the most important agricultural initiatives in the region, bringing together farmers, advisors, representatives of academia, and rural communities.
The event was attended by representatives of IAFE–NRI: Dr Marek Wigier, Prof. at IAFE–NRI and Director of the Institute, Dr Dariusz Osuch, Eng., Dr Karol Sołek, Eng., an auditor for the Polish FSDN and Mateusz Roguski, MSc Eng., who represented the Institute during meetings and discussions on the contemporary challenges facing Polish agriculture and the directions for its future development. In their discussions with farmers, they also talked about the benefits of keeping farm accounts.
An integral part of the event were presentations held at the ÅšODR experimental field, where hundreds of crop varieties and modern technological solutions were showcased. There was considerable interest in demonstrations of precision agriculture and Agriculture 4.0 technologies, including the use of drones and autonomous agricultural machinery. The event programme also included exhibitions of agricultural machinery, presentations of breeding horses, plant markets, and educational and advisory zones, which enabled direct interaction between farmers, experts, and company representatives. These activities facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as the presentation of practical solutions for modern agriculture.
The Open Day in Modliszewice constituted an important platform connecting science with agricultural practice and provided an opportunity to promote innovation and cooperation aimed at the development of the agricultural sector, as well as to discuss with farmers the role of agricultural accountancy and the functioning of the Polish FSDN system.
