During the celebration of the Day of Polish Statistics, on 11 of March, 2014, at the Central Statistical Office (CSO) a ceremony of handing merit badges “For contribution to statistics of the Republic of Poland” took place. The merit badges were conferred by the President of the CSO. IAFE-NRI was distinguished as one of the institutions whose long-term cooperation with CSO has contributed to the development of statistics in Poland. Two employees of Agricultural Accountancy Department (IAFE-NRI) i.e. dr Zbigniew Florianczyk and dr Dariusz Osuch were honored with a merit badge.
