01/10/2019On September 24-27, 2019, in the town of Serwy (Podlasie Voivodeship), 17 national Polish FADN organizational and training workshops were held, combined with the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Polish FADN.
The workshops were attended by representatives of 16 agricultural advisory centers, employees of Agricultural Accounting of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute (IAFE-NRI) and invited guests, among others the founders of the Polish FADN system, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Head of the Department of Farm Economics of the Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission (DG AGRI).
As part of the workshops, the employees of the Agricultural Accountancy Department IAFE-NRI and invited guests presented papers on substantive issues and the implementation of the Polish FADN task.
Presented, among others economic results for individual plant production activities in the AGROKOSZTY system, economic situation of farms from the Polish FADN field of observation, methods of financing the development of the agricultural sector, examples of European Commission analyzes were discussed on the example of FADN data. Finally, challenges for the Polish FADN were discussed from the perspective of coordinators in individual regions.
During the workshops, the issue of possible evolution of the System for Collection and Use of Accounting Data from Agricultural Farms in the light of future analytical needs and organizational challenges was discussed, while the coordinators shared their experience in the field of agricultural accounting in the light of the 15th anniversary of the existence of the FADN system in Poland.
