23/09/2014From the 15th to 18th of September 2014, conference on the occasion of 10th anniversary of Polish FADN combined with the 12. annual workshops and research task within Multiannual Programme 2011-2014 took place in Paprotnia (Mazowieckie voivodship).
The participants of the workshops were FADN representatives of 16 accounting offices (advisory centers), IAFE-NRI staff from Agricultural Accountancy Department and invited guests.
Among the invited guests the following persons took part: initiators of Polish FADN, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Poznań University of Life Sciences, The Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development PAS, Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW, director and staff of IAFE-NRI as well as farmers keeping accountancy within Polish FADN. Present at the conference foreign guests represented FADN Liaison Agencies from Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland and the Netherlands. In their presentations emphasized the current and future challenges for agricultural accountancy.
During the conference, the initiators of Polish FADN discussed the origins and evolution of the System on the Collection and Use of Accountancy Data from Agricultural Holdings, and invited farmers and coordinators shared their experiences in the field of agricultural accountancy. Also the changes in agriculture after accession to the EU were discussed.
During the workshop achievements of Polish FADN since 2004 were presented, as well as issues concerning the realization of Polish FADN tasks in 2014 and 2015. Within the workshops staff of IAFE-NRI and guests presented the papers on substantive issues.
