06/10/2025On 4–5 of October, 2025, the “Autumn in the Orchard and Garden” Fair – one of the most important agricultural events in the region – took place at the Podlaskie Agricultural Advisory Center in Szepietowo. The fair gathered numerous exhibitors and visitors, offering a diverse programme of educational exhibitions and culinary events, as well as a variety of attractions, including the Pan-European Exhibition of Purebred Rabbits.
On Saturday, 4 October, the event was attended by a representative of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – NRI, Jarosław Sidor, Auditor of the Polish FSDN. During the fair, he promoted the transformation of the FADN system into FSDN , holding talks with farmers, advisors, and representatives of agricultural institutions. He emphasised the importance of the data collected as part of the Polish FSDN for developing agricultural accounting in Poland.
The participation of the representative of the Polish FSDN in the event was an opportunity to present the role played by the integration of agricultural knowledge, data and practice in building the future of the agricultural sector.
The Szepietowo fair once again proved that agriculture and horticulture represent not only work, but also passion, tradition and a space for innovation. The event programme included thematic conferences, culinary shows, competitions for Rural Housewives’ Associations, and presentations of modern agricultural solutions, including the Internet Platform for Consulting in Integrated Plant Protection.
