34th National Agricultural Exhibition and Harvest Festival in Częstochowa

On 5-7 September 2025, Częstochowa hosted the 34th National Agricultural Exhibition, which accompanied the National Harvest Festival in Jasna Góra. This event is a unique celebration of agriculture and folk culture. The exhibition was organised by The Silesian Agricultural Advisory Center. The celebrations were attended by representatives of the highest state and local authorities, including the President of the Republic of Poland, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as farmers, breeders, agricultural advisors and machine manufacturers from all over the country.

The exhibitors also included The Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute, which presented its latest research projects and scientific accomplishments in the field of agricultural and rural economics. The Polish FSDN was represented by: Dr Zbigniew FloriaÅ„czyk, Head of the Agricultural Holdings Accountancy Department and Director’s Representative for the FSDN; and Dr Karol SoÅ‚ek, an auditor for the Polish FSDN. They actively promoted the transformation of the FADN into the FSDN by talking to farmers, advisors, and representatives of the scientific community.

The event programme was extremely varied. Visitors could enjoy, among other things, demonstrations of agricultural machinery and technology, a livestock exhibition, and concerts by folk and highlander bands. There were also market stalls offering a wide range of regional products. The exhibition and harvest festival in Częstochowa celebrated the harvest and Polish tradition, while also providing an opportunity to promote innovative solutions for the agricultural sector. It was also a place where the scientific community could integrate with agricultural practice and exchange experiences.
