07/10/2025From 30 September to 3 October 2025, the 23rd national organization and training workshop of the Polish FSDN was held in Łysomice near Toruń (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship). The event was organised by the Polish FSDN Liaison Agency.
The workshops were attended by representatives of 16 Agricultural Advisory Centers, the management and employees of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute, as well as invited guests, including representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Mutual Insurance Society.
During the meeting, a number of presentations prepared by employees of the Agricultural Holdings Accountancy Department of the IAFE-NRI and invited experts were given. The presentations concerned substantive issues related to agriculture and the implementation of the Polish FSDN tasks. Among other things, the following were discussed: accounting data control protocols for 2024, the organisation of the Farm Income Survey in 2025, changes in the FSDN books for 2026, the update of Standard Output ‘2020’ coefficients, and promotional activities related to the Polish FSDN. Issues related to the development financing of the agricultural sector, a comparison of the agricultural production potential of Mercosur countries and the European Union (including Poland), the challenges for the horticultural sector, and risk management in agriculture were also presented. At the end of the workshop, a summary session was held to discuss the current challenges for the Polish FSDN from the perspective of the auditor and coordinators.
