10/10/2023On October 4-6, 2023, the 21st national training and organizational workshop of the Polish FADN took place in Skarbimierz Osiedle (Opolskie Voivodeship).
The workshops were attended by representatives of: 16 Agricultural Advisory Centers, Agricultural Holdings Accountancy Department’s team as well as the Director and employees of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute (IAFE-NRI) and the Deputy Director of the Budget Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
As part of the workshops, the employees of the Agricultural Holdings Accountancy Department IAFE-NRI and invited guests presented papers devoted to substantive issues and the implementation for the Farm Accountancy Data Network in Poland. Issues related to farms’ incomes in Poland, the stages of FADN transformation into FSDN, changes in the economic size of agricultural holdings based on different sets of Standard Production coefficients (SO) and the needs of accounting in agriculture were discussed. Conclusions and recommendations for the MEF4CAP project were also presented. At the end of the workshop the challenges for the Polish FADN were presented from the perspective of regional coordinators.
