Training of the Polish FSDN advisors in Tarnów

On 23-24.04.2026, the third training event for agricultural advisors carrying out tasks within the Polish FSDN took place in Tarnów (Małopolskie Voivodeship). The event was attended by representatives of four Agricultural Advisory Centres: Śląski, Kujawsko-Pomorski, Podkarpackie, and Opolskie. The training was organised by the Agricultural Holdings Accountancy Department (ZRGR) of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute (IAFE-NRI).

During the training, ZRGR employees discussed key issues related to the transformation of the FADN system into the FSDN system. Monika Sapota, an FSDN Auditor, summarised the first year of data gathering within the Polish FSDN from the FSDN Auditor’s point of view. Zbigniew FloriaÅ„czyk, Head of ZRGR, presented the perspective of new IT solutions supporting the collection and processing of FSDN data. Aleksandra Ruszczyk conferred the Polish FSDN’s promotional, informational actions plan in the context of FADN into FSDN transformation. Adam Smolik, Head of the Methodology and Training Section, presented possible areas of the Polish FSDN’s development, emphasising the potential of using data from external databases and discussed the issues of possible scope of integration.

 

The second day of the training was entirely devoted to methodological consultations on the gathering of a wider range of variables within the FSDN.

 

The training was an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss present problems, and reflect on the system’s future development.
