On 20.09.2025, the 12th edition of the Lower Silesian Beekeeper’s Day, combined with the Flower Festival, took place. This unique event attracts many residents of Lower Silesia every year and is a special occasion for beekeepers. The event was organised by the Lower Silesian Agricultural Advisory Centre (DODR) in WrocÅ‚aw.
As part of the event, an autumn conference entitled ‘Beekeeping meetings in Lower Silesia’ was organised. During the conference, Monika Sapota, an auditor of the Polish FSDN and a representative of the Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development (NRI), gave a lecture on the Polish FSDN, discussing the system’s assumptions and emphasising the real benefits of keeping agricultural accounts for farms.
Information and promotional materials on the Polish FSDN were also presented at the National Rural Network and DODR promotional and scientific stand (KSOW and DODR), and participants had the opportunity to talk individually with Monika Sapota and exhibitors — farmers and honey producers. The meeting took place in a unique atmosphere full of music, flowers, and beekeeping inspiration.
