On 14 September 2025, Wanda Nowak, an auditor of the Polish FSDN, representative of the Agricultural Holdings Accountancy Department of the Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development-NRI, participated in events organised by the PoÅ›wiÄ™tne branch of the Mazovian Agricultural Advisory Centre: the XIX Autumn Fair ‘From farm to fork’ and the XXVII Maize and Beetroot Day.
Participants of the event could enjoy regional products and handicrafts, presentations of agricultural machinery and modern technologies in the experimental field, competitions, and folklore performances. There were also lectures and discussion panels with experts in the agricultural industry.
During the event, the FSDN representative actively promoted the Farm Sustainability Data Network (FSDN), informing farmers about the benefits of keeping agricultural accounting within the FSDN.
The auditor of the Polish FSDN also met with MODR advisors at the PoÅ›wiÄ™tne branch office during the visit, where they discussed issues related to maintaining the Polish FSDN Books, the situation of farmers in the region, and the challenges resulting from rural depopulation and changes in land ownership in the context of upcoming “active farmer” regulations. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for the exchange of experiences.
