On 12–13 June 2025, the 35th meeting of the OECD Farm Analysis Network (FLAN) was held in Paris (and hybrid online). The FLAN is a network of experts who share the goal of improving the quality and relevance of policy analysis applied to the agricultural sector through the use of micro-level data.  The 35th meeting was attended by representatives of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute: Katarzyna Kambo, MSc, PhD Zbigniew FloriaÅ„czyk and PhD Konrad Prandecki. On the first day of the meeting, during session 1: Income and social issues in agriculture, Ms Kambo gave a presentation on behalf of the Institute’s representatives entitled ‘Development of farm household incomes as a key concern for agricultural sustainability’. During this session, the issue of off-farm income was raised as one of the important aspects of farm management. The Polish contribution to the discussion was based on an analysis of the income of individual farms reporting data under the Polish FADN system and on the results of a survey on non-farm income conducted in the same farms between 2004 and 2024.
