The VI National Field Days, a nationwide event organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Agricultural Advisory Centre in Łódź, took place in Bratoszewice on 13-15.06.2025. This year’s edition, held under the slogan “The Centre of Polish Agriculture”, brought together a wide range of farmers, advisors, scientists and agricultural sector institution representatives.
The event featured the active participation of the Polish FSDN (Farm Sustainability Data Network), which from 2025 substituted the FADN system after two decades of operation. The FSDN addresses the increasing demand for monitoring agricultural sustainability by integrating economic, environmental, and social data.
The Polish FSDN was represented by Zbigniew Floriańczyk, Plenipotentiary Director for FSDN at IAFE-NRI. During the event, Dr Zbigniew Floriańczyk gave an interview to the Łódź Agricultural Advisory Centre, emphasising the importance of the data collected by the FSDN for programming support for farm development from EU and national funds. He also drew attention to the key role of farmers and advisors in the system as guarantors of reliable information on farms’ performance. The interview also provided an opportunity to express gratitude to all the partners of the Polish FSDN for their cooperation and to encourage them to continue it in the years ahead.
