Meeting with delegates of the European Commission

On 19.06.2024, on the initiative of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – NRI (IAFE-NRI), acting as the FADN Liaison Agency in Poland, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Warsaw. The meeting was attended by the delegates from the European Commission (DG AGRI), as well as by the staff of the Polish FADN, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Statistics Poland, the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture and the Farm Advisory Centres.

 

During the meeting, the process of transforming Farm Accountance Data Network (FADN) into Farm Sustainability Data Network (FSDN) from the Polish perspective was discussed. The meeting was an opportunity to present the challenges faced by the participants of the Polish FADN in the face of the conversion of FADN into FSDN.
